An amazing mini Annapurna circuit Ghorepani Poonhill trekking is a very popular short and easy trekking in Annapurna. The stunning sunrise, the rhododendron forest, local Gurung culture, tradition and panoramic Himalayan views makes this journey fantastic.
Poon Hill trekking is most ideal moderate trip where all level of trekkers from beginners, family, school/college and corporate people can take a part of trekking. The Poonhill hill station is located at the altitude of 3210 meters where you can see the incredible mountain views with sunrise over Mt. Annapurna 8,091m, Annapurna South 7,219m, Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167m, Nilgiris 6,230 m, Gangapurna 7,455m and Annapurna III at 7,555m with Mt. Machapuchare (Fish-tail) 6,997 m as well as Lamjung Himal and Manaslu mountain range.
The journey started from kathmandu to Pokhara with 6 hrs driving. A picturesque city pokhara is a tourist place where Fish tail and Annapurna are reflected on the pristine Phewa Lake. Surrounding by the green hills, full of the natural beauty and adventure activities make Pokhara is the heaven of the earth.
One hour drive by a private coach Nayapul is the beginning point of Ghorepani trekking. Crossing Birethathi, Thikedhunga, Ulleri the journey arrive at Ghorepani village. A Gurung village full of the local tea houses is located at the altitude of 2850 m. The next early morning hike to Poonhill and explore the several mountain views with sunrise and landscape make every travelers as they are luck and right choice of the trekking.
After a glorious moment the journey back to Ghandruk Village. A Gurung Village where local activities, culture, daily life are completely different and they are preserved by the locals.

Day 05 : Trek to Ghorepani (2800m) 6/ 7 hrs, BLD.
Day 06 : Ghorepani – Poon Hill (3210m) – Tadapani (2540m) 4/5 hrs,
Day 07 : Trek to Ghandruk (1940 m) 4/5 hrs,
Day 08 : Trek to Nayapul (1070 m) & drive to Pokhara, 4 hrs,
Day 09 : Drive back to Kathmandu, 6/7 hrs,
Day 10 : Final departure.
