How can I get Bhutan Visa ?
Bhutan Visa Requirements

  1. Other than Indian, Bangladeshis nationals, all visitors to Bhutan require a visa.
  2. All visas are issued from Thimphu by the Tourism Council of Bhutan
  3. Visas are only issued to tourists whom booked tour packages with local tour operators, directly or through a foreign travel agent.
  4. The tour operator submits applications for tourist visas. Clearance takes at least 10 working days to process.
  5. The Royal Government of Bhutan sets minimum selling prices for packages to Bhutan and this must be paid in US dollars prior to arrival in Bhutan.


can I enter Bhutan?
There is one national airline Druk air. It flight from the Kathmandu, India, Singapore and more few destination. By the Druk air you can directly flight to Paro airport.

If go by land there are three points. SamdrupJongkhar (southeast Bhutan), Gelephu (South Bhutan), and Phuntsholing (southwest Bhutan).

Is somebody come to pick up me at airport ?
Yes our airport representative will there to greet you. He/ She will display a signboard with your name. Upon arrival you will transfer to the hotel.

What sort of accommodation can I expect during my tour ?
In Bhutan all government approved hotels are clean and well mentioned with cold and hot water, telephone and international dialing and fax facilities. Usually we Used 3 to 4 star hotel with breakfast and hot drinks included in Bhutan.

What short of food can I expect during my tour ?
Most of the restaurants serve Bhutanese, Indian, Chinese and continental cuisine. Local Bhutanese food are spicy like the Indian food.

What shot of transportation do I use?
Global Holidays Adventure use private tourist vehicle for city sightseeing tour. The vehicle are extremely reliable and make the journey as comfortable.

What is the best season to visit Bhutan?
The Bets season to visit Bhutan is between February to June and September to December.

What is the weather condition?
It is depend on the season you are travelling. IF you are travelling from December to February it is little cold the temperature is rating from 4°C (night) to 22 °C ( Day). From march to May it is the perfect season for travelling. The temperature is 25°C at the day time. From June to August it is totally rainy season. Most of days are become very hot. And the season from the September to November is also the perfect season for traveling. The average temperature of the season is around 20°C.

Is there any possible to Charge my digital camera and other equipment?
These facilities are available most of the places. Please do not forget to bring travel adapters.

Is there any photography restriction ?
You will get many opportunities to the photos during your tour. Please as for Permission before take the photos. Photography Inside the monastery, shrine room of Dzongs and religious institutions is generally not permitted. Make sure with your guide before enter these places.

Is there any communication facilities?
Telephone and Internet are readily available in most of the town.

Can I use my credit cards in the places visited in the tour?
There are just few ATM’s in Bhutan for credit. We suggest that bring US Dollar or Euros to exchange your pocket money.

How much additional money do I need per day ?
It’s depending upon your spending habits. Generally all the accommodation, food, drinks are included your tour price so you can allocate 10 to 0 dollar for chocolates and other things.

Does the guide have first aid trading for high altitude ?
Yes all the government license holder guides are 45 days trained from the Hotel Management and Tourism Center. The guide have also receive the high altitude first aids training.

Is the water fine to drink?
Your tour cost also included all drinking water in Bhutan so you we will serve you fine drinking water.

Do I need to bring any essential documents?
Here are some list of documents:
Valid Passport – must be valid for up to 6 months after you return from your tour, keep a separate photocopy.
Travel insurance, keep a separate photocopy
Cash and Traveller’sCheques, keep numbers and proof of purchase separately
Flight tickets
Emergency contact numbers for T/C’s, banks, insurance, family contacts.

Is there possible to add extra days to my trip?
Sorry, we can’t change your Druk air flight once It is booked.

Is there possible to get clothes washed /Laundry ?
Yes you can easily fine in hotel. Please note that the laundry cost not included.

The Personal Equipment and items are individual interest & choice. The most important fact that one should keep on mind is that one should have enough clothes while in travelling. The following gives you a general idea of the personal items that you can bring for the your Holidays.
