Global Holidays Adventure offers Damodar Kunda Helicopter Tour for those people who have high desire to visit the Damodar kunda via holy place Muktinath without any physical difficulties within a short time frame. Damodar Kunda is situated at 4,890m height in the north of Annapurna range. It is cold and windy place. Normally April to October is good time to visit Damodar Kunda but we will recommend you during full moon of August because during this time there is a big festival with many pilgrimages Hindus and Buddhist every year.

Damodar kunda is one of the holiest lake situated in upper Mustiang region of Nepal. In "Barah Purna" Lord Krishna had said "The person who pays to visit this Kunda and take a bath here will be freed from his all sins". It is mentioned in Purna Kuber's sons were suffering from their then Lord Krishna suggested them to take bath in Damodar kunda which helped then to release from their sins. The Damodar kunda is famous for Hindu religion.

Itienery Overview

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and Transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing Tour, Evening time fly to Pokhara.
Day 03: Fly to Muktinath to Damodar kunda and Fly back to Pokhara.
Day 04: Day sightseeing around Pokhara.
Day 05: Fly back to Kathmandu and day time for shooping.
Day 06: Transfer to Airport for final departure.

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1300 m).
After arrival at Kathmandu airport Our company representative's will welcome you and then transfer to hotel. After time to get refreshed, evening we'll meet and transfer for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant in the heart of Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel with BB basis.

Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing (1300 m).
Today, After morning breakfast you will visit different historical and cultural sites of the Kathmandu valley with our professional guide. You will go for the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath, the world biggest Boudhanath stupa and visit Swoyambhunath stupa also known as monkey temple. After exploring the surrounding areas visit hitorical Kathmandu Durbar square with temple, unique architectures and kumari (living goddess). Overnight at hotel with BB basis.

Day 03: Fly to Muktinath to Damodar kunda and fly back to Pokhara, O/N at hotel with BB basis.
Today, After morning breakfast, You will transfer to domestic airport and after legal documentation you will fly by Helicopter from Kathmandu to Pokhara, and Pokhara to Muktinath , and Muktinath to Damodar kunda.You will visit over there around 30-45 minutes and fly back to Pokhara and transfer to hotel.Overnight at hotel with BB basis.

Day 04: Day sightseeing around Pokhara, O/N at hotel with BB basis.
Today, Early morning you will drive to Sarangkot to view the magnificent view of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhere, Himchuli, Manaslu and others. After spending couple of hours in Sarangkot you will back to hotel for breakfast. After few time rest you will have sightseeing around Pokhara including Fewa lake, Davi's fall's,Bindabasini temple.

Day 05: Fly back to Kathmandu and Leisure time for shooping, O/N at hotel with BB basis.
Today, you will fly back to Kathmandu and lesiure time you can to shooping.

Day 06: Transfer to Airport for final departure.
Today, our company representative will drop you to the Kathmandu airport for your final departure for your home country or onward  destination.

VISA INFO:  Entry Visa fees- at present US$ 25 for 15 days, US$ 40 for 30 days and US$ 100 for three month visa on entry to Nepal. You can take visa after landing Nepal in Tribhuwan International Airport.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL IN NEPAL :
Because of its elevation, Nepal can divided into three zones-the high mountains, the mid-hills and the flat plains called the Terai. The Everest, Langtang and Annapuran Trekking destinations in the mountains are cool throughout the year. The mid-hills, including Kathmandu & Pokhara, are cool except in the summer months from May to July. Temperatures in these cities during the summer remain much cooler that in many cities of the region. Lumbini, Chitwan and Janakpur in the Terai plains are hot in summer ( March-July) but cold in winter( December- February).

Any month of the year would be good to visit Nepal around the mid-hills & flat plains and September to May is good time for trekking and expedition.

Our airport representative will come to the airport to pick up. We will be displaying a play card Global Holidays Adventure with your name on it. You need a visa to Nepal. You can easily get a visa upon your arrival in TIA airport, Kathmandu on paying US$. 40 for a month US$. 100 for three
months.

DO I HAVE PRE_DEPARTURE MEETING ?
Yes, at first, our staff will receive you at the airport and transfer to the Hotel and our tour leader will brief regarding about the trip. The briefing will cover the itinerary and introduced your trek leader.

While briefing, please bring passport, 3 copies of passport size photos, travel insurance, writing pen and notepad.

HOW DO I PAY TO GLOBAL HOLIDAYS ADVENTURE ?
How do i pay to Global Holidays Adventure?
After the trip confirmation you will send around 25% advance deposited by wire transfer to GHA Bank Account and remaining you can pay after your arrival by Cash or Credit Card but to pay by credit card there will be extra 4% bank service charge. Now Traveller Cheque is not acceptable as per the rule & regulation of Nepal Rastra Bank. We accept visa card, master card & National Card.

WHAT SORT OF ACCOMMODATION CAN EXPECT IN KATHMANDU AND DURING THE TOUR ?
There are all kind of Hotel simple to 5* hotel in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwon, Lumbini and others places. It's depends on your demand but normally in our tour package we use standard rooms from 3* or 4* on BB Basis.  

WHAT'S THE COMMON FROM OF GREETING IN NEPAL ?
It is called Namaste or Namaskar. You can say the greeting in words as well as do it using a gesture. Join your palms together and bring them close to your chest and about 5to 7 inches below your chin. The word Namaste has many meanings such as Hello, How are you?, I am glad to see you, nice to meet you, good morning, etc.

WHAT ARE THE BASIC NEPALI CUSTOMS THAT I NEED TO KNOW ?
When visiting a temple, always circumambulate it is a clockwise direction.
Take off your shoes before entering a temple or a Nepalese home.
Entrance to some temples is forbidden, so look out for such notices.
Seek permission to take photographs inside temples or of religious ceremonies.
You can accept a handshake offered by either a male or a female but never offer your hand first.
Show decency in dress and avoid any show of public affection.

HOW ARE COMMUNICATION FACILITIES IN NEPAL ?
Mobile coverage is wide in Nepal, even in the rural areas. Internet facilities are available in hotels and cyber cafes in all major cities. Apart from the urban centers, popular trekking destinations-the Annapuran and Everest Region, also have modern communication facilities.

WHAT IS THE CURRENCY OF NEPAL ?
Nepalese currency is spelled as Nepalese Rupees or Rupee ( Rs) or Nepali Rupee, and in short it is NRS or Rs. 100 Paisa equals 1 Rs. Currently Notes of the following denominations are used 1000, 500, 100, 50, 25, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 Rupees. Coin has not been popular in Nepal hence is almost always ignored in business.

ARE THERE ATM FACILITIES IN NEPAL ?
Yes, in Kathmandu, Pokhara and main city of Nepal there is the facilities of ATM.

WHERE CAN I EXCHANGE MY MONEY ?
It is illegal to exchange foreign currency with persons and organizations other than those authorized such as Travel Company, Banks, Hotels and Licensed money changers.

DO I NEED TO TIP MY GUIDE AND DRIVER ? HOW MUCH WOULD THAT BEST ?
This is difficult things to tell. It's up to you from your heart by looking their work and support. Tipping is not required, but a small way to show your guides and drivers thanks for their help. The level of the tip should reflect the level of personal involvement with your guide.

Nepal does not require any specific immunization for visitors. It is however best to have vaccine before coming to Nepal. Your doctors can advice you on the type of vaccine to be taken to travel to third world countries like Nepal.

The Personal Equipment and items are individual interest & choice. The most important fact that one should keep on mind is that one should have enough clothes while in travelling. The following gives you a general idea of the personal items that you can bring for the your Holidays.
