Itinerary Details

Day 1

Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
During your arrival, our office representative will be waiting for you at Tribhuwan International Airport’s arrival gate. As he cannot enter inside, he will be carrying a board with your name tag. A private vehicle will be sent as per your group size.

  • Our office representative will help you with the luggage and your transfer to the hotel.
  • Once you got to the hotel, we will meet you for further follow up.
  • Rooms will be assigned you with a welcome drink.
  • At the evening, welcome dinner at a typical Nepali restaurant.

Day 2

Full day Kathmandu sightseeing.
Breakfast will be provided at the hotel. Our city guide will meet you at the hotel. He will guide you during your whole Kathmandu city sightseeing and help you with all of your queries and curiosity of Kathmandu city. A private vehicle with an experienced driver will be sent for the guided sightseeing tour.

 Things to do:

  • Visit Pashupatinath; one of the largest temples of Hindu God Lord Shiva.
  • Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
  • Explore around the durbar square complex.
  • Visit Kumari Ghar and Bhaktapur Museum.
    (Kumari is the living goddess in Newari culture.)
  • Pottery Gallery.
    (Pottery workshops are available at Bhaktapur.)
  • Visit artificial lakes of Bhaktapur.
  • Visit Changunarayan Temple.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

Fly Pokhara. Pokhara sightseeing. (25 min. fight).
Early morning after having breakfast, our office representative will drop you to the domestic terminal of Tribhuwan International Airport.
The flight duration will be approx. 25 min.
At Pokhara, a private vehicle will be waiting for you and will transfer you to the hotel. Our tour guide will meet you at the hotel. You will visit few places this day.

  • Visit mountain museum of Pokhara.
  • Visit Devi’s fall.
  • Visit World Peace Pagoda stupa.
  • Admire the Himalayas view with a mind-blowing sunset.

Day 4

Full day sightseeing in Pokhara.
This day, you will tour around the best sites in Pokhara.

  • Early morning drive to Sarangkot.
  • Amazing sunrise view with the Himalayas from Sarangkot.
  • Explore bat cave.
  • Visit Barahi temple.
  • Visit Begnas Lake.
  • Chill around the lakeside during the evening.

After the sightseeing tour, you will be dropped at the hotel. Free to relax and chill around Pokhara lakeside.

Day 5

Drive to Ghandruk. (3 hrs).

Early morning, you will have your breakfast at the hotel. Today’s destination is Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a large settlement of Himalayan tribe, the Gurungs. It offers a mind-blowing view of the Annapurna ranges and Mt. fishtail. The drive duration to Ghandruk this day will be around 3 hours.

Things to do

  • Drive to Ghandruk.
  • Witness beautiful human settlements and terrace farming on the way.
  • Enjoy beautiful mountain view from the vehicle’s window.
  • Explore around Ghandruk village.
  • Participate in cultural program at Ghandruk.
  • Visit Ghandruk Museum.
  • Witness Annapurna range and Fishtail with the stone-roofed human settlements.

Day 6

Drive to Chitwan. (5 hrs).

This day, you will drive to Chitwan National Park for more adventure and wildlife encounter. The drive duration will be approx. 6 hours.

  • Early morning sunrise view from Ghandruk.
  • Experience the golden hour in the Himalayas.
  • Drive to Chitwan.
  • Experience a large reddish sunset from the plain land.

After reaching Chitwan, room’s key will be provided with respective room number. Rest of the day free to rest and relax.

Day 7

National park activities at Chitwan.

Chitwan National Park includes a number of wildlife as well as adventure activities. This day, you will participate in different national park activities.

  • Witness gharial and alligator.
  • Visit the elephant breeding center.

Day 8

Fly back Kathmandu.
Early morning, you will have breakfast at the hotel. Then, you will be transferred to the airport for Kathmandu flight. At Kathmandu, our office representative will meet you at the airport. You will then drive for a short sightseeing.

  • Drive to Patan Durbar Square.
    (Patan Durbar square is the ancient royal palace of the Malla kings dating back to the 16th)
  • Tour around the durbar square complex.
  • Explore Golden Temple.
  • Explore Patan Museum.
  • Observe the temples and monuments of the square.
  • Drive to Swayambhunath, also known as Monkey Temple.
  • Admire Kathmandu valley with sunset view from the hill.

After the tour, the vehicle will drop you at your hotel. You are free to shop and explore Thamel area during the evening.

Day 9

Final Departure.
This day, you are free until transfer to the airport for final departure. A private vehicle and our office representative will be sent at the hotel. You will then be transferred to the airport for your final departure.

HOW CAN I ENTER NEPAL ?

Nepal is a popular tourist destination in south Asia. Several airlines have direct and non-stop flights from Middle East and Asia to Kathmandu, Capital of Nepal. All visitors can enter by Land through any of these entry points on the India-Nepal Boarder.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL IN NEPAL ?

Because of its elevation, Nepal can divided into three zones-the high mountains, the mid-hills and the flat plains called the Terai. The Everest, Langtang and Annapurna Trekking destinations in the mountains are cool throughout the year. The mid-hills, including Kathmandu & Pokhara, are cool except in the summer months from May to July. Temperatures in these cities during the summer remain much cooler that in many cities of the region. Lumbini, Chitwan and Janakpur in the Terai plains are hot in summer ( March-July) but cold in winter( December- February).

Any month of the year would be good to visit Nepal around the mid-hills & flat plains and September to May is good time for trekking and expedition.

IS SOMEONE GOING TO MEET ME AT THE AIRPORT ?

Our airport representative will come to the airport to pick up you. We will be displaying a play card Global Holidays Adventure with your name on it.

DO I HAVE PRE-DEPARTURE MEETING ?

Yes, at first, our staff will receive you at the airport and transfer to the Hotel and our tour leader will brief regarding about the trip. The briefing will cover the itinerary and introduced your trek leader.

While briefing, please bring passport, 3 copies of passport size photos, travel insurance, writing pen and notepad.

HOW DO I PAY TO GLOBAL HOLIDAYS ADVENTURE ?

After the trip confirmation you will send around 25% advance deposited by wire transfer to GHA Bank Account and remaining you can pay after your arrival by Cash or Credit Card but to pay by credit card there will be extra 4% bank service charge. Now Traveler Cheque is not acceptable as per the rule & regulation of Nepal Rastra Bank. We accept visa card, master card & National Card.

WHAT SORT OF ACCOMMODATION CAN EXPECT IN KATHMANDU AND DURING THE TOUR ?

There are all kind of Hotel simple to 5* hotel in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwon, Lumbini and others places. It’s depends on your demand but normally in our tour package we use standard rooms from 3* or 4* on BB Basis.

WHAT'S THE COMMON FROM OF GREETING IN NEPAL ?

It is called Namaste or Namaskar. You can say the greeting in words as well as do it using a gesture. Join your palms together and bring them close to your chest and about 5to 7 inches below your chin. The word Namaste has many meanings such as Hello, How are you?, I am glad to see you, nice to meet you, good morning, etc.

WHAT ARE THE BASIC NEPALI CUSTOMS THAT I NEED TO KNOW ?

  • When visiting a temple, always circumambulate it is a clockwise direction.
  • Take off your shoes before entering a temple or a Nepalese home.
  • Entrance to some temples is forbidden, so look out for such notices.
  • Seek permission to take photographs inside temples or of religious ceremonies.
  • You can accept a handshake offered by either a male or a female but never offer your hand first.
  • Show decency in dress and avoid any show of public affection.

WHAT IS THE CURRENCY OF NEPAL ?

Nepalese currency is spelled as Nepalese Rupees or Rupee ( Rs) or Nepali Rupee, and in short it is NRS or Rs. 100 Paisa equals 1 Rs. Currently Notes of the following denominations are used 1000, 500, 100, 50, 25, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 Rupees. Coin has not been popular in Nepal hence is almost always ignored in business.

It is illegal to exchange foreign currency with persons and organizations other than those authorized such as Travel Company, Banks, Hotels and Licensed money changers.

DO I NEED TO TIP MY GUIDE AND DRIVER ? HOW MUCH WOULD THAT BEST ?

This is difficult things to tell. It’s up to you from your heart by looking their work and support. Tipping is not required, but a small way to show your guides and drivers thanks for their help. The level of the tip should reflect the level of personal involvement with your guide.
