Pisang peak is one of the beautiful climbing peak of Nepal attracting a wide number of tourist every year. This pyramidal peak is situated just above Pisang village, located inside the Annapurna Region. Pisang village is a small village of Manang district which lies on the Annapurna Circuit trail, a popular trek route of Nepal. Combination of pisang peak climbing trip and Annapurna circuit trek is one of the most adventurous trips in the Himalayas. With an altitude of 6091 m, this peak stands tall in the northern side of Nepal with surrounding peak of the Annapurna region. Pisang peak is also known as Jong RI. This peak was first climbed by the German Expedition team in 1955. Since then, this peak has become a popular climbing destination in the Himalayas. Fabulous views of the great himalayas can be enjoyed from the summit of Pisang peak including Manang valley and Annapurna ranges.
Pisang peak (Jong RI) generally takes you towards the majestic peaks of Annapurna, Lamjung and Mt. fishtail. You will head towards Pisang valley with a day drive from Kathmandu valley and some days trek. Passing beautiful settlements of Jagat, Chyamje, Tal, Dharapani and Chame, you will reach Pisang from where you will head towards Pisang peak. During the trip, you will have some days reserved as an acclimatization day for your safe and successful peak climbing. You will head towards the base camp and high camp from Pisang village and have some pre climbing training organized by our Sherpa guide. Then, you will finally push the summit and scale it with gorgeous mountain views. The trail up to the summit are combined with rocky as well as snowy trails, crevasses and glaciers which can be challenging in some parts. After the summit scale, you will return back to Pisang and ascend uphill to cross one of the highest passes of the Annapurna region, Thorong LA. Thorung LA pass is a popular pass of Nepal located at an altitude of 5,416 m. From here, you will descend down to Muktinath. Muktinath is located at an altitude of 3800 m which is a famous sacred place for Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. Lastly, you will descend down to Jomsom where the trip ends. Jomsom is a town of Mustang district offering airline services with various shops, hotels, lodges, financial institutes and vice versa. You will fly Pokhara from Jomsom which offers magnificent views of the surrounding peaks.
The best season for Pisang peak climbing trip are Autumn and Spring season. Autumn lies between September-November and Spring lies between March-May. However, it can be done in early december as well.

Kathmandu Sightseeing and Preparation.
Explore some of the famous cultural and historical landmarks in Kathmandu, such as Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. Prepare for the trek and climbing, and check your gear with your guide. (Hotel including daily breakfast)
Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760 meters / 2,493 feet) and then to Chamje (1,410 meters / 4,625 feet) then to Dharapani (1,960 meters / 6,430 feet).
Start your journey early in the morning with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar. From Besisahar, continue the drive to Chamje to Dharapani. The drive will offer you beautiful views of terraced fields and rural landscapes. (Guesthouse including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,710 meters / 8,891 feet).
The trail takes you through lush forests of pine and rhododendron as you trek towards Chame, the headquarters of the Manang District. Enjoy breathtaking views of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II along the way. (Guesthouse including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,300 meters / 10,826 feet).
The trail continues through forests and opens up to a vast and dry landscape. You'll pass through the villages of Telekhu and Bharatang before reaching Pisang. Pisang offers stunning views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak. (Guesthouse including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Acclimatization Day in Pisang.
Take a rest day in Pisang to acclimatize to the higher altitude. You can go for a short hike around the village or visit the Upper Pisang area for better views.
Trek from Pisang to Pisang Base Camp (4,380 meters / 14,370 feet).
Leaving Pisang, the trail climbs steadily towards Pisang Base Camp. As you ascend, you'll notice the landscapes changing, becoming more barren and alpine. (Tented Camp including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Trek from Pisang Base Camp to High Camp (5,400 meters / 17,717 feet).
Move further up to the High Camp, where you'll set up your camp for the night and prepare for the Pisang Peak summit. (Tented Camp including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Summit Pisang Peak (6,091 meters / 19,980 feet) and back to Pisang Base Camp.
Start early in the morning for the summit push. The climb is generally not technical, but it requires the use of ropes and crampons. Reach the summit and enjoy the magnificent views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Descend back to Pisang Base Camp.(Tented Camp including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Reserve Day for Contingency
This day serves as a buffer in case of bad weather or any other unforeseen circumstances during the peak climb.(Tented Camp/Guesthouse including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Trek from Pisang Base Camp to Manang (3,540 meters / 11,614 feet).
Descend back to the main trail and continue trekking towards Manang, a beautiful village in the Trans-Himalayan region. (Guesthouse including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,020 meters / 13,189 feet).
Leave Manang and trek towards Yak Kharka, a grazing area for yaks. The trail offers incredible views of the surrounding mountains.(Guesthouse including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,450 meters / 14,599 feet).
Continue ascending towards Thorong Phedi, the base camp before crossing the Thorong La Pass. (Guesthouse including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,800 meters / 12,467 feet) via Thorong La Pass (5,416 meters / 17,769 feet) then drive to Jomsom from Muktinath by Jeep.
This is the most challenging day of the trek. Start early in the morning to cross the Thorong La Pass. The pass offers stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Descend to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists then drive to Jomsom by Jeep. (Guesthouse including Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu.
Take a morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara and then connect to a flight back to Kathmandu. In the afternoon, you can explore Kathmandu, do some souvenir shopping, or relax in your hotel. (Hotel including daily breakfast.

Transfer to Airport and flight back to your country.
In Nepal, there are two major seasons which are considered prime time for Peak Climbing. These times range from March to May and October to November. During this spring and fall seasons temperatures are moderate and weather tends to be very clear and blue sky. Yela Peak can also attempted during the winter but it is extremely cold and very challenging for the climbers.
Our climbing Sherpa guides are decayed experienced and highly qualified with knowledge of high altitude climbing. Most of our climbers were born in Himalaya and have spent most of their live above the 4000 meters. Our guide are well trained about the technical climbing, customer relationship and responsibilities, altitude sickness, international languages and wilderness First Aid. They are all certified by Nepal Mountaineering Association.
Training in advance can help you greatly. We recommended you to start your journey before you arrive Nepal. Do your everyday exercise, training on steep ground, off trail etc before the trip. This will not only increase your fitness level but also provides you with the knowledge of similar routes and trails. Start your basic training will improve your fitness level and aerobic capacity for altitude climbing.
We also request you to provide us your honest description of relevant experience and current fitness level. Upon we receive, we will review your level and respond you accordingly. About this point if we consider there to be any suggestion then we provide a training support Plan to achieve your goal.
During in Kathmandu: You can enjoy typical Nepali food, different ethnic cuisine like Chinese, continental, Italian and Indian. The breakfast will be provided in Hotel and one farewell dinner will be provided during in Kathmandu.
During the trekking: During in mountain your breakfast and dinner will be provided in same guesthouse where you stay overnight. Lunch will be taken en route to the next destination.
During the climbing: We will cook hygiene and fresh food in our camp and serve you in our dinning tent.
You will be accommodated 3 star hotel accommodation in Kathmandu and best available guesthouse during the trekking and tents while climbing. Most of the teahouse accommodation provide you sharing a bathrooms facilities. For tent accommodation you will be provided foam mattress and toilet will be managed with necessary natural preservation. All our accommodation are twin sharing basis and if you require single room the there will be charge of single supplementary.
