Lhasa is the capital city of Tibet the autonomous region in China. Lhasa "Land of the Gods" is located at 3650 meters above the see level on the northern range of the Himalayas. Lhasa tour is also a popular because of its hub of politics, economy, culture, religion of Tibet. The ancient monasteries and Temple in the city have preserved many historical relics, Buddhist scriptures, arts and crafts.

4 days Lhasa tour is a shortest and refreshing tour which is easy and memorable as well as give you a delightful memory of beautiful landscape of Tibetan plateau. Lhasa tour started with an hour scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu. The flight offer you most spectacular mountain views of the various beautiful mountains. When you arrive at Lhasa you will pick up by our representative and transfer to the hotel. Next two days you will enjoy the sightseeing tour of Lhasa where you will explore Jokhang Temple (Tsuglagkhang) - constructed in the 7th century AD, Potala Palace (Phodrang Potala) - A stronghold probably existed on Red Hill as early as the 7th century AD, Norbulingka Summer Palace - located about 1km west of the Potala Palace - The Seventh Dalai Lama constructed the first summer palace in 1755, Drepung Monastery - founded in 1416 by a disciple of Tsong Khapa, was the biggest and richest monastery in Tibet, Sera Monastery - founded in 1419 by one of Tsong Khapa’s (the founder of the Gelupa sect) eight disciples, Tibet Museum Minzulu Road, Lhasa and you will visit Barkhor Street Market - a circular street around the Jokhang Temple in the center of the old section of Lhasa.

Day 01: Arrive at Lhasa (3600 meters), O/N at hotel.
After arrival on Gonggar airport by your Tibetan guide. Take a 1.5 hours drive along 93 kms road leading to Lhasa lying at an altitude of 3660 meters. It's advisable to rest and take it easy for the remainder of the day due to Lhasa altitude.

Day 02: Guided city tour in Lhasa (3600 m), O/N at hotel.
Today, After morning breakfast, you straightway make arrangement tour. Your experienced guide accompanies you to the famous monasteries of Tibet. On your awe-inspiring visit to Sera Monastery. You once again continue exploring Tibetan ancient cultures and civilization as you pay a visit to Norbulingka, the summer palace of the Dalai Lam. Jokhang temple provides yet another exciting and educative tour. Wandering around Barkhor markets is another major highlight of the day.

Day 03: City tour around Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery (3660 meters), O/N at hotel.
Today, you will get more acquainted with the mystiques of Lhasa. In the morning after breakfast, you will set off the view majestic Potala Palace towering above city of Lhasa. You get to witness unique, pristine and overwhelming array of intricate Tibetan murals, temples, stupas, and tombs of eight past Dalai Lamas from a perfect vantage point. Ancient Tibetan cultures come alive with your every exploration. Later in the afternoon lunch, you will visit beautifully landscaped Drepung Monastery. You can observe nuns and monks chanting and performing religious discourses.

Day 04: Final departure transfer to airport.
Today, After morning breakfast you will drive 2 hours to Gonggar airport, then you will fly to Kathmandu or destination.

01. HOW CAN I GET TIBET VISA ?
Now individual travelers are allowed into the Autonomous Region of Tibet. The Chinese Embassy will issue the visas. Visas can be arranged from Kathmandu ( Global Holidays Adventure Pvt. Ltd ) easily and we can help you. It is necessary to obtain a travel permit for travel in Tibet. Please carry some passport size photographs plus smaller denomination of US dollars cash for the completions of visa formalities.

This is to notify you for change in the rule of visa applying through Chinese embassy for this year 2013 than of previous year. Unlike previous year there will not be same day visa and visa for individual traveler. We can get visa on normal policy receiving on 4th morning of the applied day; semi-urgent policy receiving on 3rd morning of applied day; and top-urgent policy receiving on 2nd morning of applied day. In case of any emergency to get visa on same day we can manage but you have to pay additional service charge for the emergency assist depending in the situation and feasibility.

02. IS INDEPENDENT TOUR IS ALLOWED in TIBET ?
Independent tour is prohibited in Tibet. You should take part in an organized ground group or have the local travel operator to arrange for you.

03. WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT TIBET ?
It is said the suitable time for traveling to Tibet is from April to October while the gloden time in August and September.

04. WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED IF IAM PLANNING TO TIBET ?
You need to have valid china visa and a Tibet permit (sometimes people call it Entry permit or TIB, or Tibet Visa).

05.DO I NEED MULTI-ENTRY VISA IF I COME TO TIBET FROM CHINA MAINLAND AND RETURN CHINA MAINLAND AFTER THE TRIP ?
No, because Tibet is a part of China, If enter Tibet from other cities in China mainland and after the trip in Tibet, get back to China mainland again . only single entry visa is required.

Tibet Travel Permit only endorsees you to enter Tibe.

07. WHAT SORT OF CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES IS SUGGESTED FOR THE TRIP ?
As the Tibet is at high altitude the climate is cold so it is recommended that you have warm clothes with you, thermo coat, monkey cap, comfort shoes, masks, walking sticks, sunscreen lotions, sun glasses are also  recommended accessories for the trip.

08. IS IT OK FOR ME TO BATHE EVERY DAY ?
It is not a good idea to bathe immediately you arrive in TIbet in case you catch cold or loss or loss Of energy. You Can bath 1 or 2 days later when your body have acclimatized to the conditions. In fact it very gry and cold at night, so travelers  usually choose not to bath.

09. ARE CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED IN TIBET ?
Credit cards are not recommended as a way of payment in Tibet because they are only accepted by the bank of China, Up-market hotels and large shopping department Lhasa and some other Cities.

10. WHAT ARE THE HOTELS LIKE IN TIBET ?
In Tibet hotel facilities and service stander may not be as you would expect from a hotel iN other parts of world. Staff will probably not speak much English. Hotel In small cities and Everest Base Camp area or such areas are basic. The will usually have sharing bathroom.

11. IS THERE INTERNET FACILITIES IN HOTEL ?
Some Hotels rooms, not all, in Lhasa have internet facilities. So you should Inquiry your travel advisor before making decision.

12. IS THERE 24 HRS HOT WATER RUNNING ?
Due to basic condition in Tibet, sometimes with the poor pressure, the water flow may small and water sometime is not hot but just warm. In remote area, the condition can be even worse.

13. WHAT CAN I EAT IN TIBET ?
In Lhasa you Can Choose Chinese food, western food, Nepali food, Tibetan food as well as Nepalese fod and Indian food. But in remote area, Choice is limited.

14. WHAT VEHICLE DO YOU USE IN TIBET ?
If The tour is mainly around Lhasa, You are suggested to use minivan as the condition of road also minivan cost less as well. If the tour is covering some places with bad road condition, or Long distance we are offering 4WD off road vehicles.

15. WHAT DO YOU PROVIDE US THE TOUR ?

16. CAN WE USE INDIAN OR OTHER CURRENCY IN TIBET SIDE ?
No, the currency that is used in Tibet side is Chinese Yuan. For exchange of Chinese Yuan You can contact us on arrival on Kathmandu.

The Personal Equipment and items are individual interest & choice. The most important fact that one should keep on mind is that one should have enough clothes to tackle the cold weather in the Himalayas. The following gives you a general idea of the personal items that you can bring for the trek.

UPPER BODY
