Everest Day Helicopter tour

Day 01: Helicopter tour to Mt Everest.

Today, After morning breakfast around 7 to 7:30am transfer to domestic airport. After some legal process you will fly across the panoramic himalayan ranges that are usually covered with snow. The flight to Kala Patthar (17192 ft/5242m) provides a panoramic vision of the mountains and the mesmerizing Gokyo Lakes. From Kala Patthar (17192 ft/5242m) we get the closest view of Mount Everest and its surrounding peaks. The Kala Patthar plateau is also a historic site as the 'World's Highest Cabinet Meeting' was organized by the Nepalese Government over here on 4th December 2009. Also we view the Khumbu glacier, Gokyo valley and fly over thousands of peaks and high mountain.

After taking in the wonderful sights and capturing the scenes on our camera, we board the waiting chopper and fly towards Synbuche where the world’s highest luxury Everest View Hotel, is located. At 3860 M, Everest View Hotel, Syngboche, is among the world's highest full service Hotels. Perched high above the Khumbu valley on a spectacular and serene location, the resort boasts of an unparalleled panoramic view of the principal peaks of the Khumbu including Mt. Everest and Lhotse. After having breakfast at this resort then we fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: After arrival at Kathmandu airport Our company representative will welcome you and then transfer to hotel. After time to get refreshed, evening we'll meet and transfer for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant in the heart of Kathmandu and briefing about your trip. Day 02: Everest Helicopter sightseeing.

7:00 AM: Get up and transfer to the domestic airport by private AC car.

Day 03: Today, After morning breakfast you'll visit different historical and cultural sites of the Kathmandu valley with our professional guide. You will go for the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath, the world biggest Boudhanath stupa and visit Swoyambhunath stupa also known as monkey temple. After exploring the surrounding areas visit hitorical Kathmandu Durbar square with temple, unique architectures and kumari (living goddess). Overnight at 5 Star Hotel.

Day 04: Final departure day, our company representative will drop you to the Kathmandu airport for your final departure for your home country or onward destination.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL IN NEPAL :
Because of its elevation, Nepal can divided into three zones-the high mountains, the mid-hills and the flat plains called the Terai. The Everest, Langtang and Annapuran Trekking destinations in the mountains are cool throughout the year. The mid-hills, including Kathmandu & Pokhara, are cool except in the summer months from May to July. Temperatures in these cities during the summer remain much cooler that in many cities of the region. Lumbini, Chitwan and Janakpur in the Terai plains are hot in summer ( March-July) but cold in winter( December- February).

Any month of the year would be good to visit Nepal around the mid-hills & flat plains and September to May is good time for trekking and expedition.

DO I HAVE PRE-DEPARTURE MEETING ?
Yes, at first, our staff will receive you from airport and transfer to the Hotel and our tour leader will brief regarding about the trip. The briefing will cover the itinerary and introduced your trek leader.

While briefing, please bring passport, 3 copies of passport size photos, travel insurance, writing pen and notepad.

After the trip confirmation you will send around 25% advance deposited by wire transfer to GHA Bank Account and remaining you can pay after your arrival by Cash or Credit Card but to pay by credit card there will be extra 4% bank service charge. Now Traveller Cheque is not acceptable as per the rule & regulation of Nepal Rastra Bank. We accept visa card, master card & National Card.

WHAT SORT OF ACCOMMODATION CAN EXPECT IN KATHMANDU ?

WHAT'S THE COMMON FROM OF GREETING IN NEPAL ?
It is called Namaste or Namaskar. You can say the greeting in words as well as do it using a gesture. Join your palms together and bring them close to your chest and about 5to 7 inches below your chin. The word Namaste has many meanings such as Hello, How are you?, I am glad to see you, nice to meet you, good morning, etc.

  • Take off your shoes before entering a temple or a Nepalese home.

  • Seek permission to take photographs inside temples or of religious ceremonies.
  • You can accept a handshake offered by either a male or a female but never offer your hand first.
  • Show decency in dress and avoid any show of public affection.
