There are mixed bags of tours you can consider on Kathmandu Lhasa Overland Tour. A few alternatives incorporate trekking and visits to more remote parts of the nation, which take a touch longer to get too. These visits can take from 15 to 30 days and can cost extensively more. The best alternative that remaining parts is an overland group of tour crosswise over what we call the 'Friendship Highway' in Tibet from Kathmandu to Lhasa.
The Sino-Nepal Friendship Bridge joins Kodari of Nepal with Zhangmu of Tibet. The whole Kathmandu Lhasa Overland Tour will take seven to eight days and give both of you entire days in the city of Lhasa. On the eighth day you'll fly back to Kathmandu.
Our 12 days Kathmandu - Lhasa overland visit is a budget plan approach to see the best of what Tibet brings to the table. If you are arranging your excursion from Nepal better commute in and fly out from Lhasa. Your trip starts with a beautiful 4-5 hour drive to Kodari, close to the Nepal-China border. After crossing bridge you make a beeline for the town of Nyalam which is 40 km from the Nepal border. From Nyalam, a wonderful ride/drive takes you over an infertile and remote Tibetan scene before you stop in Lhasa.
Two entire days in Lhasa, gives you a lot of time to visit all the famous places there, including the Potala Palace, Jokhang temple and the Norbulingka palace. These landmarks are spots of extraordinary social and religious centrality to Tibetan Buddhists. Among these spots, the rich history and magnificence of the Potala Palace is unparalleled as it keeps on commanding the horizon of this sacred city.
