Tent peak is a charming destination for climbers who want to maximum number of mountains form one place. The 5663m tall mountain provides an enormous beauty of all Annapurna region. It is one of the best short trekking that picturesque Annapurna Base Camp trekking.


Journey to Tent Peak expedition starts from Pokhara from where we will reach Phedi by bus. The real trekking starts through the region of lush forests, amphitheater-styled rice fields, and beautiful farmlands. The Annapurna Sanctuary comes in midway that provides you the best and wonderful experience of jungle travel specially for those seeking the touch of pristine nature, as this area is blessed with a wide variety of bio-diversity.


The trail takes you through forests and fascinating traditional villages of the Nepal's indigenous communities of Gurung who will greet you very warmly if you cared to stop for a conversation. After reaching Chhomrong Gurung village, we follow the Modi Khola and passes through stands of rhododendron and bamboo. Then taking few steps will take you to amphitheatre surrounded by walls of snow, everything feels like paradise. From the peak of Tent you will get to see the breath taking panoramic view of all Annapurna Range.


This climbing is the overview for anyone who is physically fit and has adventure spirit. Tent Peak climbing can be undertaken at after proper acclimatization and trekking experience.

Useful Informations

Helicopter Rescue
While traveling in the Himalaya you may suffer for the various health problems, injuries and even the altitude sickness. Hence you have to prepare before upcoming destination is this mountain land. Make sure the policy of the insurance company provides should cover the process of giving you the service of Helicopter rescue from the mountains in case of Altitude Sickness or other accidents during your trip.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport & transfer to hotel.
Our representative will meet you in airport and transfer to hotel. After refreshment move for sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. O/N at hotel with BB basis.

Day 02: Full day Kathmandu sightseeing & trek preparation.
Today, After morning breakfast you'll visit different historical and cultural sites of the Kathmandu valley with our professional guide. You will go for the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath, the world biggest Boudhanath stupa and visit Swoyambhunath stupa also known as monkey temple. After exploring the surrounding areas visit hitorical Kathmandu Durbar square with temple, unique architectures and kumari (living goddess).Overnight at hotel with BB basis.

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara, 6-7 hours, O/N at hotel with BB Basis.
Today, After morning breakfast drive to Pokhara which is situated 200 km west from Kathmandu.

Day 04: Drive to Naya pool and start trek to Ulleri (2073m), 5-6 hours, O/N at Guesthouse with BLD Basis.
Today, We begin our trek at Naya pool, an hour drive from Pokhara. After 20 minutes walk along the Modi stream, We reach at Birethanti- a beautiful village that has plenty of tea shops and guest houses. We then follow the left route through the village. Our trek will continue heading to Ulleri following the bank of the Burungdi stream. We slimb slightly up to the valley of Hile (1495 m) and Tikhedhunga (1525m). The trail leads steep up to Ulleri (2073m), a large beautiful Magar village, through the stone slabs. Generally, today's trek offer you a memorable experience of trekking in Nepal.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2856 m), 4-5 hours, O/N at Guesthouse with BLD Basis.
Today, trail leads us to the Ghorepani, one of the popular destinations of Annapurna region situated at an altitude of 2,856 meters. Our trek gently ascends up to Banthanti (2250m) through Oak and Rhododendron forest. We then continue trek towards Ghorepani through Nangeythanti (2,460m).

Day 06: Trek to Tadapani (2,625m), 5-6 hours, O/N at Guesthouse with BLD Basis.
Today, We will climb up to poon hill (3210 m) early in the morning to see the panoramic views of Annapurna,Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himalayan ranges as well as sunrise over the tolerable himalayas. Experiencing the great views of Himalayan panorama from Poon hill, we descend to Ghorepani. After breakfast, continue downhill trek to Tadapani (2,625m). The trail goes a long the ridges of Rhododendron and pine forest till the Tadapani.

Day 07: Trek to Chhomrong (2020m), 4-5 hours, O/N at Guesthouse with BLD Basis.
Today, Our trail descends to Kimrong stream through the forest of Rhododendron. We then walk towards Chhomrong crossing through the village. Chhomrong offers you close views of Mt. Annapurna south and Hiunchuli and the virgin peak, Fishtail (Machhapuchchhre).

Day 08: Trekto Dovan (2400m), 5-6 hours, O/N at Guesthouse with BLD Plan.
Today, We descend to Chhomrong stream and again climb up to Dovan crossing through silent Rhododendron forest.

Day 09: Trek to Deurali (3200m), 4-5 hours, O/N at Guesthouse with BLD Basis.
Today, We climb to Deurali through the Rhododendron and bamboo forest. The place located on the ridge of Hinko cave and it is the trail most stretch subject to avalanche.

Day 10: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4131m), 5-6 hours, O/N  at Guesthouse with BLD Basis.
Today, Our day begins with climb to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3900 m) and to Annapurna Base Camp. The area is surrounded by the mountains and is known as Annapurna Sanctuary. This places gives you an spectacular view of himalayas including Annapurna I, Annapurna south and Barah Shikhar.

Day 11: Trek to Tent Base Camp (4400m) 4-5 hours, O/N at tent with BLD Basis.
Today, from here we will have short walking day as it is very important to avoid getting affected by the thinning of the air and get acclimatization to climb Tent Peak. Our guide will give important and useful information about the situation on climbing Tent peak and about next day's activities. From today the accommodation will be tented camp for next two days and you will be having camp food cooked by our professional cook.

Day 12: Trek to High Camp (5000m), 2-3 hours, O/N at Tent with BLD Basis.
Today, trek to high camp and a short day in order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning of the air, we take a short trek around high camp and get ready for our adventure for next morning.

Day 13: Summit Tent Peak (5,850 m) and return to Base Camp. 8-9 hours. O/N at Tent with BLD Basis.
Today is our main adventure day, an early morning to climb Tent peak but it all depends on the weather. After safe trip to the summit we make our way safely down then day back to Base Camp.

Day 14: Trek to Deurali (3200m). 5-6 hours, O/N at Tent with BLD Basis.
Today, We follow the same trail down, today the trail drops dwon by 1200 meters to the bank of Modi Khola to small town of Deurali at 3200 meters.

Day 15: Trek to Chommrong (2140m), 5-6 hours, O/N at Tent with BLD Basis.
Today, We follow the same trail untill Chommrong through Himalaya hotel, Dovan, Bamboo. Once we have passed Khuldighar there is an experimental sheep farm, the trail continues through Rhododendron and Bamboo fields.

Day 16: Trek to Ghandruk (1950m) 4-5 hours, O/N at Tent with BLD Basis.
Today, The day starts with easy wlaking and then downhill for an hour. After an hour leaving Chommrong. We descend steeply through forests and then the field to Kumrong Khola. From here we go up which takes you to the Kumrong Danda then a 45 minutes gentle down to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is the village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal, have their own dialect, typical culture, costume, and life style. This village is possibly the popular tourist destinatin that offers the beautiful mountain views and having easy connection with Pokhara or Kathmandu. We will have sightseeing around the village.

Day 17: Trek to Nayapul (1010m) and drive to Pokhara, 5-6 hours, O/N at hotel with BB Basis.
Today, From Ghandruk we walk at the right side of Modi Khola for 4-5 hours to Birethanti which is consider one of the best and relaxing walk of the entire trek. We reach Nayapul then an hour drive will take us back to Pokhara.

Day 18: Pokhara city tour, O/N at hotel with BB Basis.
Today, you sightseeing trip will start after morning breakfast. We visit fewa lake, Begnas lake, Davi's Fall's, Museum, Tibetan refugees settlement and Gupteshower cave etc.You will have relaxing afternoon.

Day 19: Drive back to Kathmandu (1300m), 6-7 hours, O/N at hotel.
Today, Early morning you will drive back to Kathmandu after finish you fantastic Nepal's Himalayas Tent peak climbing. You will drive back to Kathmandu & transfer to hotel.

Day 21: Transfer to International airport for final departure.
Today, our company representative will drop you to the Kathmandu airport for your final departure for your home country or onward  destination.

WHAT IS CAMPING TREKKING: Camping treks require us to carry tents, Kitchen gear, food and other equipments. Unlike tea house treks camping treks are more adventures.

WHICH IS THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR FOR TREKKING ?
In Nepal, there are two seasons which are considered prime time for trekking. These times range from Feb-May and Sep-Nov. There are places to visit during Monsoon season ( June-August), such as Mustang and Upper West part of the Annapurna Circuit, as these treks are in the "Rain Shadow" and virtually untouched by Nepal Monsoon. WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN NEPAL ?
Nepal is an extremely diverse country for its size. The temperature can range from extremely hot ( 37-40C) in the lower Terai regions, to negative temperatures in the northern, mountainous regions. Feb-May and Sep-Nov are prime trekking times due to the lovely climate. There is ample sun in the day time and only slightly chilly at night. Monsoon ( June-Aug) can get very hot and humid-with showers usually in the early morning and late afternoon.

WHAT TYPE OF SHAPE DO I NEED FOR THIS TRIP ?
GHA offers trekking opportunities for all every age and fitness level. Our treks are graded on difficulty level, 1 being the easiest and 5 being for advanced trekkers. The level of difficulty is based on the altitude and natural terrain of the trek. The difficulty levels for each trek can be found on each individual itinerary of both our website and brochures.

IS SOMEONE GOING TO MEET ME AT THE AIRPORT ?
Our airport representative will come to the airport to pick up. We will be displaying a play card Global Holidays Adventure with your name on it. You need a visa to Nepal. You can easily get a visa upon your arrival in TIA airport, Kathmandu on paying US$. 40 for a month US$. 100 for three months.

DO I HAVE PRE-DEPARTURE MEETING ?
Yes, at first, our staff will receive you at the airport and transfer to the Hotel and our tour leader will brief regarding about the trip. The briefing will cover the itinerary and introduced your trek leader.

While briefing, please bring passport, 3 copies of passport size photos, travel insurance, writing pen and notepad.

HOW DO I PAY TO GLOBAL HOLIDAYS ADVENTURE ?
After the trip confirmation you will send around 25% advance deposited by wire transfer to GHA Bank Account and remaining you can pay after your arrival by Cash or Credit Card but to pay by credit card there will be extra 4% bank service charge. Now Traveller Cheque is not acceptable as per the rule & regulation of Nepal Rastra Bank. We accept visa card, master card & National Card.
WHAT SORT OF ACCOMMODATION CAN EXPECT IN KATHMANDU AND IN TREKKING ?
In Kathmandu: Here are all kind of Hotel simple to 5* hotel. It's depends on your demand but normally in our trekking package we use standard rooms from 3* or 4* on BB Basis.
During Trekking : You will have teahouse/lodges generally provide basic clean facilities with a mattress and a quit blanket. We can offer GHA sleeping baggage if needed but it's good idea to bring your own always. We usually provide you single and double rooms as well as the occasional dormitory. And you will have twin sharing tent with matters in camping trek.

Toilet Facilities During Trekking: On, Trek common toilet facilities are available at tea house. Now some teahouse have attached bathroom.

Shower Facilities: You will have hot shower in all teahouse but some place there isnot hot shower, we will provide you hot water in bucket for shower.

WHAT IS THE GROUP SIZE FOR TREKKING ?
There are no restrictions on the size of a group. We organize trekking to an individual as well as a group and services will be same.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO ORGANIZE MY OWN PERSONAL GROUP ?
It is possible to organize your own trekking group. Simply book with us online or in one of our trekking offices in Bhagawan Baha, Thamel, Kathmandu and we will get your next Himalayan adventure sorted. You may choose to have a private group, or keep it open, in which case other travellers can join your group. We allow up to 8 people to join a group.

DO THE GUIDE AND SUPPORT STAFF SPEAK ENGLISH ?
Most of guides speak fluently English and some speak well. Some of the support staff do speak little English and some do not speak.

DO SOMEBODY CARRY OUR BACKPACK ?
Yes, Our Porters/Sherpas will carry you heavy backpack and you will carry only the baypack.

WHAT IS OUR DAILY ROUTINE WHILE IN TREKKING ?
Daily Routine starting from 7 am. Wake-up 7 am, start trek before 8 after breakfast, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm lunch and trek end 3:30 to 4 pm. Time to read or nap before dinner. After dinner there is time to play cards, reflect on all the wondrous moments of your day and talk about tomorrow plan.

WHAT KIND OF FOOD CAN I EXPECT IN TREKKING ?
Most of Teahouse cook a delicious range of mostly vegetarian fare Pasta, Tuna Bakes, Noodles, Potatoes, Eggs, Dalbhat, Bread, Soups, Fresh Vegetable ( Variety depends on the season) and even some desserts like Apple Pies, Pancakes and some interesting attempts at custard. You will find a lot of garlic items on the menu, eat some every day because it assists with acclimatization. You can always get hot chocolate, tea, coffee, hot lemon as well as soft drinks. Each day dinner and breakfast are used to take in the same lodge you spend the night. Lunch will take on the way to destination.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER AND TEMPERATURE LIKE IN TREKKING ?
Weather in the mountains is notoriously difficult to predict. At night it is generally cooler the days are generally warm. Winter ( January and February ) will be bit colder but the days can be quite beautiful and warm if the sun is out. There will be bit of snow during the month of January, February and December. It is also important to makes sure that you can stay warm and dry in just about any condition. Expert the unexpected! The temperature could be as high as 20 degree c to 15 degree c low during day time.

CAN I CHARGE MY CAMERA BATTERIES ON MY T
These facilities will be available in most of the places in your Hotel reception by playing some service. Remember to bring your adapters!!

IS THERE ANY COMMUNICATION WHILE WE ARE ON TREKKING ?
There are telephone in some villages along the trekking routes from which you can make international calls, Some place there is also interest access which you can use by paying some charges.

HOW MUCH ADDITIONAL MONEY DO I NEED PER DAY ?
In Kathmandu, you can allocate $ 15-20 for lunch, dinner and drinks. It's all depends on your spending habits. US$ 15-20 a day will be enough to buy bottles of water, chocolate and few drinks in Trekking.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY ?
All of our guides are trained in basic first aid and can deal with the basic ailments that may occur on trek. In the event of an emergency Global Holidays Adventure will cover initial expenses of any rescue operation. It is a condition of booking that you are adequately insured for such an events as these expenses will need to be recovered from your insurance company. In the most frequented regions there are health posts, which have been established by foreign doctors and many are staffed by overseas personnel.

Yes, GHA insures all our trekking staff including guide, cook, sherpa and porters.

WHAT'S THE COMMON FORM OF GREETING IN NEPAL ?
It is called Namaste or Namaskar. You can say the greeting in words as well as do it using a gesture. Join your palms together and bring them close to your chest and about 5to 7 inches below your chin. The word Namaste has many meanings such as Hello, How are you?, I am glad to see you, nice to meet you, good morning, etc.

IS THERE ANY COMMUNICATION WHILE WE ARE ON TREKKING ?

IS THE WATER OK TO DRINK ? DO I NEED TO BRING PURIFYING TABLETS/FILTER ?
In most places bottled water is readily available. If you wish to drink normal water, you need to use purifying aid, which you will need to bring with you.

DO I NEED TO TIP MY GUIDE AND PORTERS HOW MUCH WOULD THAT BE ?
This is difficult things to tell. It's up to you from your heart by looking their work and support. Tipping is not required, but a small way to show your guides and local porters thanks for their help. The level of the tip should reflect the level of personal involvement with your guide.

WHAT ESSENTIAL DOCUMRNTS DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME ON TOUR ?

A trekking holiday should be about making it to the final quickly. Along your trek we can add days at your request with additional costs to cover guides, porters, accommodation and food.

WHAT IMMUNIZATIONS WILL I NEED ?
No vaccinations are compulsory in Himalaya but we do recommend you are covers for Diphtheria & TB, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Typhoid, Polio and tetanus. We are recommend.

The Personal Equipment and items are individual interest & choice. The most important fact that one should keep on mind is that one should have enough clothes to tackle the cold weather in the Himalayas. Medicines and first Aid Kits
Please note that our guide also carry the first aid kits but still we recommended you to bring your personal first aid kid. Extra Strength Extra Strength Excedrin for altitude related headaches.

  • Ibuprofen for general aches and pains.
  • 1 skin blister repair kit.
  • 1 bottle anti-diarrhea pills.Any medicine if you need to take every day.
  • Imodium or Pepto bismol capsules for upset stomach or diarrhea.
  • Diamox (commonly prescribed as Acetazolamide) 125 or 250mg tablets for altitude sickness. Please discuss with us before starting to take this medicine.
  • 1 small personal sized first-aid kit with blister treatments such as mole skin, band-aids, some waterproof tape, anti-infection ointments, etc. Your guides will have more extensive medical gear, but you should have the basics for general use.
