Your family tour start after a warm welcome in Kathmandu airport and visit the most popular UNESCO heritage sites of Kathmandu valley. You will visit Swyambhunth (The Monkey Temple), Pashupathinath (Holy God Shiva’s Temple or Hindu’s temple), Bouddhanath Stupa (World biggest Buddhist Stupa), Kathmandu Durbar Square (Ancient palaces of Malla kings old Kathmandu. After a day Kathmandu sightseeing we will take you to Nagarkot hill station where you can observe beautiful sunrise views over the white Himalayas with your morning breakfast.

After Nagarkot you will transfer to Pokhara by 25 minutes domestic flight from Kathmandu. The natural city of Pokhara offers beautiful lakes, caves, fascinating mountain views of Annapurna and Machhapurche. Boating at Phewa Lake, visit Davi’s fall, International mountain museum, world peace pagoda and visit Sarangkot in early morning to observe the golden sunrise and mountain views are the lifelong experiences of Pokhara tour.

Our tour will not complete yet without exploring the nature and wildlife activities in Chitwan National park. After relaxing in Pokhara your family will transfer to Chitwan where you will spend 2 nights 3 days for wildlife activities like Elephant safari, elephant bath, canoeing in Rapti river, easy Jungle walk (if you are Interested), visit elephant breeding center, Crocodile breeding center and you will also able to explore local Tharu villages and their cultural dance show in evening.

After 2 nights relaxing in Chitwan you will drive/ fly back to Kathmandu. Additionally you can join Everest view mountain flight in our Itinerary from Kathmandu where you can experiences the great views of world highest mountains including Mt. Everest. If your children and grand-parents are able to walk short distance for 2/3 hours you can visit one night Ghandruk village/ Dhapus village / Australian base camp from Pokhara.

During the trip such thing weather, local Politics, transportation and other factors are beyond our control which can change our itinerary. However it is unlikely that the itinerary would be changed. If the cases alternative itinerary is needed the leader (Guide) will decide what is the best alternative itinerary for the whole group. Whether the change of itinerary is does not matter, we can do everything and minimized it effect but we can not be responsible for the result of delay.

Day 1

Arrival and hotel transfer.

  • Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu.
  • Meet our office representative at the airport gate; he will be holding a board with your name tag.
  • Transfer to the hotel on a private vehicle.
  • Rooms will be assigned.
  • Welcome dinner at a typical Nepali restaurant.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2

Kathmandu sightseeing tour.
After having breakfast, our tour guide will meet you at the hotel. You will then approach for Kathmandu sightseeing tour. A private vehicle will be sent for the day.

Things to do

  • Visit UNESCO world’s heritage sites of Kathmandu valley.
  • Explore Patan Durbar Square, an ancient royal palace dating back from the 17th
  • Visit Golden Temple and Patan Museum.
  • Visit Pashupatinath and Boudhanath.
  • Visit Swayambhunath during evening.

(Optional: If you do not want a sightseeing tour, you can hike one of the destinations around Kathmandu.)
(Extra Activities: Wall climbing, Archery, Para Gliding; on your own expenses)

After the sightseeing tour, the vehicle will drop you at the hotel.

Day 3

Rafting at Trishuli River.
Early morning after breakfast, you will head towards Malekhu for white water rafting and overnight at the resort. Malekhu is approx. 50 km drive from Kathmandu. A private vehicle will drop you at the resort.

Things to do

  • Drive to Malekhu for whitewater rafting adventure.
  • 3 hours rafting at Trishuli River, Malekhu.
  • Many exciting games during rafting.
  • Extra activities and games at the resort.
    (Swimming, beach volleyball)
  • Dinner, overnight and musical program at the resort.

Day 4

Drive to Pokhara.
You will have your breakfast at the resort and then head towards Pokhara. It will take approx. 4-5 hrs to reach Pokhara. The private vehicle will drop you at the hotel of Pokhara (as your reservation).

Things to do

  • Drive to Pokhara.
  • Explore around Pokhara lakeside.
  • Enjoy wonderful time around the Phewa Lakeside, Pokhara.
  • Experience nightlife of Pokhara.

Day 5

Mountain flight and Full day around Pokhara.
You will have an exciting mountain flight which will offer a close view of the great Himalayas in the morning. After having breakfast, you will head towards Pokhara airport for the mountain flight. Also, you will have a guided sightseeing tour of popular sites of Pokhara. A private vehicle will be sent for the tour with an experienced guide and driver.

Things to do

  • Early morning mountain flight for a mesmerizing Himalayas view and top view of Lake City Pokhara.
  • Full day sightseeing tour around Pokhara.
  • Explore bat cave, Gupteswor cave and Devi’s fall.
  • Visit world peace Pagoda stupa.
  • Drive Begnas Lake for boating.

After the sightseeing tour, you will return back to the hotel. You can chill around Lakeside during evening as well as night time.

(Optional: You can hike or paddle up to Sarangkot or Kahu Dada)

Day 6

Drive to Chitwan.
This day, you will head towards Chitwan for more adventurous activities at the national park. You will have your breakfast at the hotel. Our private vehicle will drive you all the way to Chitwan. It will take approx. 4-5 hrs to reach Chitwan.
After reaching Chitwan, rooms will be assigned as per the reservation.

Things to do

  • Drive Chitwan for wildlife adventure and national park activities.
  • Explore around Chitwan.
  • Bird watching at the riverside.
  • Admire appealing sunset view.

Day 7

Encounter wildlife and national park activities.
This day will be an exciting day for you as you will be involving in the national park activities. After having breakfast at the hotel, you will approach for the national park activities at Sauraha, Chitwan.

Things to do

  • Jeep/ Elephant Safari around the national park.
  • Encounter wildlife such as royal Bengal tiger, one horn rhino, wild boar, wide varieties of deer, water buffalo and many more.
  • Witness Marsh Mugear (Asia Alligator) and Gharial (fish eater)
  • Visit Elephant breeding center.
  • Explore the village of Chitwan and have a close look at their lifestyle.
  • Cycling (on your own expenses)
  • Join and enjoy cultural program and dance organized by the Tharu community.

After all these activities, you will return back to the hotel.

Day 8

Fly Kathmandu.
Early morning, you will have your breakfast at the hotel. Then, you will approach to Bharatpur airport for Chitwan-Kathmandu flight. The flight duration will be approx. 20 minutes.

After reaching Kathmandu, you will be transferred at the hotel by our private vehicle. Remaining part of the day is free to explore around Kathmandu or relax.
(Dinner and overnight at the hotel)
(For the free part of the day: You can do cycling around Kathmandu or go wall climbing)

Day 9

Final Departure.
You will have your breakfast at the hotel. Until final transfer to the airport for departure, you are free to relax and do shopping. Our private vehicle will drop you to the international airport for the final departure.

HOW CAN I ENTER NEPAL ?

Nepal is a popular tourist destination in south Asia. Several airlines have direct and non-stop flights from Middle East and Asia to Kathmandu, Capital of Nepal. There are direct flights from London, Paris, Frankfurt, Doha, Osaka, Shanghi, Mascow, Bangkok, Singapore, Hongkong, Karachi, Bombay, Delhi, Culcutta, Paro, Dhaka, Lhasa & Varanasi.

All visitors can enter by Land through any of these entry points on the India-Nepal Boarder.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL IN NEPAL ?

Because of its elevation, Nepal can divided into three zones-the high mountains, the mid-hills and the flat plains called the Terai. The Everest, Langtang and Annapurna Trekking destinations in the mountains are cool throughout the year. The mid-hills, including Kathmandu & Pokhara, are cool except in the summer months from May to July. Temperatures in these cities during the summer remain much cooler that in many cities of the region. Lumbini, Chitwan and Janakpur in the Terai plains are hot in summer ( March-July) but cold in winter( December- February).

Any month of the year would be good to visit Nepal around the mid-hills & flat plains and September to May is good time for trekking and expedition.

IS SOMEONE GOING TO MEET ME AT THE AIRPORT ?

Our airport representative will come to the airport to pick up you. We will be displaying a play card Global Holidays Adventure with your name on it.

DO I HAVE PRE-DEPARTURE MEETING ?

Yes, at first, our staff will receive you at the airport and transfer to the Hotel and our tour leader will brief regarding about the trip. The briefing will cover the itinerary and introduced your trek leader.

While briefing, please bring passport, 3 copies of passport size photos, travel insurance, writing pen and notepad.

HOW DO I PAY TO GLOBAL HOLIDAYS ADVENTURE ?

After the trip confirmation you will send around 25% advance deposited by wire transfer to GHA Bank Account and remaining you can pay after your arrival by Cash or Credit Card but to pay by credit card there will be extra 4% bank service charge. Now Traveler Cheque is not acceptable as per the rule & regulation of Nepal Rastra Bank. We accept visa card, master card & National Card.

WHAT SORT OF ACCOMMODATION CAN EXPECT IN KATHMANDU AND DURING THE TOUR ?

There are all kind of Hotel simple to 5* hotel in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwon, Lumbini and others places. It’s depends on your demand but normally in our tour package we use standard rooms from 3* or 4* on BB Basis.

WHAT'S THE COMMON FROM OF GREETING IN NEPAL ?

It is called Namaste or Namaskar. You can say the greeting in words as well as do it using a gesture. Join your palms together and bring them close to your chest and about 5to 7 inches below your chin. The word Namaste has many meanings such as Hello, How are you?, I am glad to see you, nice to meet you, good morning, etc.

WHAT ARE THE BASIC NEPALI CUSTOMS THAT I NEED TO KNOW ?

  • When visiting a temple, always circumambulate it is a clockwise direction.
  • Take off your shoes before entering a temple or a Nepalese home.
  • Entrance to some temples is forbidden, so look out for such notices.
  • Seek permission to take photographs inside temples or of religious ceremonies.
  • You can accept a handshake offered by either a male or a female but never offer your hand first.
  • Show decency in dress and avoid any show of public affection.

WHAT IS THE CURRENCY OF NEPAL ?

Nepalese currency is spelled as Nepalese Rupees or Rupee ( Rs) or Nepali Rupee, and in short it is NRS or Rs. 100 Paisa equals 1 Rs. Currently Notes of the following denominations are used 1000, 500, 100, 50, 25, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 Rupees. Coin has not been popular in Nepal hence is almost always ignored in business.

It is illegal to exchange foreign currency with persons and organizations other than those authorized such as Travel Company, Banks, Hotels and Licensed money changers.

DO I NEED TO TIP MY GUIDE AND DRIVER ? HOW MUCH WOULD THAT BEST ?

This is difficult things to tell. It’s up to you from your heart by looking their work and support. Tipping is not required, but a small way to show your guides and drivers thanks for their help. The level of the tip should reflect the level of personal involvement with your guide.

WHAT ESSENTIAL DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME ON TOUR ?

  • Valid passport, must be valid up to 6 months after return from your tour, keep a separate photocopy.

  • Nepal does not require any specific immunization for visitors. It is however best to have vaccine before coming to Nepal. Your doctors can advice you on the type of vaccine to be taken to travel to third world countries like Nepal.
