Surrounded by lake and the thrilling routes in Solu-Khumbu region, Gokyo lake is yet another natural masterpiece. Everest Gokyo Lake Trekking is as equal to Everest Base Camp Trekking with surpassing beauty but fewer crowds. The major highlight of trekking to Gokyo Ri is a viewpoint with an astonishing panorama of the Himalaya as well as views of the sparkling lakes below and Nepal’s longest glacier.

Emerging as one of the best trek in the Khumbu region, the association with alpine nature is the major reason why everyone is including it in their bucket list. The second option round to Everest Base Camp Trek will meet expectation highlighting Everest, the highest peak and the most dangerous place in the planet. It is the best trekking choice for you if you want to exclude the crowd and fervor on base camp Trail.

This adventurous Gokyo Lake trek starts from Lukla after half an hour mountain flight from Kathmandu, on the way following the Milk-River known as Dudh Koshi toward Namche. After Namche you set off from the main trail towards the lethargic town of Phortse Tenga and lastly reach to our definitive destination Gokyo Lake passing Dole and Machhermo.

Gokyo, the hidden valley in the Himalayas has its own reputation among adventure junkies. The wavering light lake has blessed the area with astounding and amazing views of nature.
