Starting from Kathmandu and riding through the valleys and gorges with views of mountains kissing the sky. Rugged tarmac, wilderness, and beautiful places surrounded by Annapurna Mastiff, Manaslu Mountain and the valley of Manang and the people. The people living there follow semi-nomadic life and riding horse are some follow Buddhist beliefs. The rich culture of Buddhism, Buddhist tradition, prayer flags, some chortens are spread all around the region.

Itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu.
Meet and Greet: our representative will be waiting outside the airport, you will meet them after finishing up with immigration formalities.

Drive to hotel: 30 minutes, check in, rest and relax.
Evening: Small briefing about the trip, check the bike, if you need some minor adjusting, let us know. Our mechanic will do it for you.

Day 2

Ride to Beshisahar - Duration: 6/7 hours, 175 km
Elevation: 760 m
Morning: Breakfast at hotel.

Starting from Kathmandu, you'll head west through Kalanki and follow the Prithvi Highway through Naubise, encountering winding mountain roads alongside the Trishuli River. The final stretch from Dumre to Beshisahar along the Marsyangdi River valley, where the road becomes narrower with mixed surface conditions. The entire route features a mix of well-paved highways and some rougher sections, particularly in the final stretch. The journey takes you through varying landscapes, from busy urban areas to scenic river valleys and hillsides, with numerous small towns offering rest stops.

Day 3

Ride to Chame. (Duration—5 hours, 65 km).
Elevation: 2650 m
Morning breakfast at hotel/lodge.

This is a challenging mountain road that follows the Marsyangdi River valley upwards into the Manang district. The route passes through key villages including Khudi, Bhulbhule, Ngadi, Chamje, Tal, Dharapani, and Timang before reaching Chame. The road is mostly unpaved and rough, with sections of steep ascents, narrow passages, hairpin turns and occasional waterfalls crossing the path.

Day 4

Chame to Manang - Duration: 4 hours, 31 km.
Elevation: 3341 m.
Morning breakfast at hotel/lodge.

Today’s road condition will be rugged mountain terrain, typically taking 3-4 hours. The unpaved dirt and gravel track climbs steadily from Chame through villages like Bhratang (known for apple orchards), Dhukur Pokhari, Pisang, and Humde before reaching Manang. The road, while challenging, is relatively better maintained than the Beshisahar-Chame section, though riders still encounter narrow passages with steep drop-offs and rocky patches. The route offers breathtaking views of Annapurna II and III, especially after Pisang where the valley widens significantly.

Day 5

Manang to Khangsar - Duration: 2 hours, 8 km approx.
Elevation: 3756 m.
Morning breakfast at hotel/lodge.

The road is a rough jeep track, extremely narrow in places, with loose rocks and gravel. Starting from Manang, you'll cross the Thorong Khola river and follow a gradual ascent through high-altitude scrubland. The path offers stunning views of Annapurna III, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak. The route passes through sparse settlements, and you'll notice the landscape becoming more barren as you gain altitude. The route is less traveled and have just basic teahouses available in Khangsar village. Basically Khangsar is and old traditional village.

Day 6

Khangsar to Pisang - Duration: 4 hours, 15 km approx.

Elevation: 3200 m
Morning breakfast at hotel/lodge.

Starting from Khangsar, the route descends back through high mountain terrain to join the main Manang valley near Humde, before continuing to Pisang. The trail initially follows a rough jeep track with loose rocks and steep sections. You'll need to backtrack through parts of the Manang valley, passing Humde's small airport before reaching Pisang. The road conditions vary from rocky paths to dirt tracks, with some steep descents requiring careful navigation. Views along the way include spectacular vistas of the Annapurna range, particularly Annapurna II, III, and Pisang Peak. It's best to start early to avoid afternoon winds.

Day 7

Pisang to Besisahar- Duration: 4 hours, 85 km.
Elevation: 760 m
Morning breakfast at hotel/lodge.

After breakfast today, we ride back to Besisahar in the same road we used earlier. Our journey to Besisahar was ornamented by several waterfalls, a rock, and amazing views.

Day 8

Beshisahar to Gorkha - Duration: 3 hours, 81 km.
Elevation: 1522 m.
Morning breakfast at hotel/lodge.

The route primarily consists of dirt and gravel roads but comparatively better than the roads travelled before. Upon reaching Abu Khaireni you’ll turn east on the Gorkha road which winds uphill through rural settlements and terraced hillsides until reaching Gorkha Bazaar. The road is mostly paved but has some rough patches, particularly on the final stretch to Gorkha. The route offers scenic views of terraced fields, traditional villages, and ultimately the historic Gorkha palace perched on the hilltop.

Day 9

Ride back Kathmandu - Duration: 5 hours, 141 km.
Elevation: 1355 m
Morning breakfast at hotel.

You will follow the same highway road that you’ve ridden earlier. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can walk around streets of Thamel and enjoy your dinner.

Day 10

Final Departure.
Morning breakfast at hotel.
Our representative will drop you at the international terminal of the airport according to your flight time.

FAQ

What kind of motorcycle are used for this trip?

We use Royal Enfield Himalayan and Royal Enfield Classic for this tour. Both the bikes are powerful and go easy on the trail that we are going and is comfortable to ride.

What happens if the bike gets damaged while on trip?

Don’t worry we’ve got you all covered. While on trip you have supporting vehicle carrying spare parts and your luggage and you will also have mechanic stand by during the trip. For the first damage of any parts we will fix it with out charging any thing and if its second or more damage then you have to pay for it.  

Who are the people that I will be riding with?

You will have a crew riding along with you. The crew includes Guide, Technician, your group as well as support vehicle. 

What is the best season for this trip?

March to May and September to November are the best time to do this trip as the sky will be clear during this time and the views are great.
