Day 1

Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

  • On your arrival at Kathmandu, you will land on Tribhuwan International Airport.
  • Our office representative will be waiting for you at the airport.
  • After meeting him, he will transfer you to the hotel on our private vehicle.
  • Room’s keys will be assigned as per the reservation.
  • Remaining part of the day is free to rest and relax.
  • Welcome dinner at a typical Nepali restaurant.

Day 2

Sightseeing around Bhaktapur and Changunarayan.
This day, you will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changunarayan temple. A private vehicle will take you for the sightseeing tour along with our city guide. He will help you with all your queries and questionnaire.
Things to do:

  • Explore monuments including 55 window palace, 5 store Nyatapol Temple, Kumari Ghar and Bhaktapur
  • Museum. (Kumari is the living goddess in Newari culture.)
  • Pottery Gallery. (Pottery workshops are available at Bhaktapur.)
  • Weaving and knitting.
  • Visit small industries, handicraft shops and observe their works.
  • Observe the architectural designs and details carved on temples and monuments.
  • Observe stone taps and artificial lakes of Bhaktapur.
  • Explore Changunarayan Temple.
  • After the sightseeing tour, the vehicle will drop you at the hotel.

Day 3

Fly Pokhara and sightseeing around Pokhara.
You will head towards Pokhara on this day. You will have your breakfast at the hotel. Our private vehicle will drop you at the domestic terminal of Tribhuwan International Airport. From there, you will approach for Pokhara flight. The flight duration will be approx. 25 minutes.
At Pokhara, our office representative will drop you at the hotel. Rooms will be assigned. Our city guide will meet you at the hotel for Pokhara sightseeing.
Things to do:

  • Have a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
  • Guided sightseeing tour around Pokhara by our experienced city guide.
  • Visit Phewa Lake and Barahi temple.
  • Visit World’s peace pagoda.
  • Explore Devi’s fall and Gupteshwor cave.
  • After having an informative and wonderful sightseeing tour, you will return to the hotel. Rest of the day is free to enjoy the ambiance of Pokhara Lakeside.

Day 4

Drive to Tikhedhunga and trek Ulleri.
Today will be starting day of your short trek. After having breakfast, you will leave Pokhara and drive to Tikhedhunga via Nayapul. A private vehicle will be managed along with our trek guide. It will be a drive of 2 hours and 3 hours trek.
Things to do:

  • Drive to Tikhedhunga via Nayapul.
  • Trek approx. 3 hours depending on your walking pace.
  • Ascend a steep hill to reach Ulleri.
  • Visit beautiful village of Tikhedhunga.
  • Cross suspension bridges.
  • Admire beautiful hills and sceneries.
  • After reaching Ulleri, rooms will be assigned as our reservation. Rest of the day is free to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Day 5

Trek to Ghorepani.
After a wonderful time at Ulleri, we will approach to our main destination today. It will be a trek of another 3 hours. After having breakfast at Ulleri, you will start the trek. Our trek guide will always be there for your safety and to answer your queries.
Things to do:

  • Head towards Ghorepani.
  • Pass various rhododendron and pine trees.
  • Admire beautiful scene and sceneries.
  • Pass beautiful human settlements along the trails.
  • Interact with the locals and observe their lifestyle.
  • Admire beautiful Mountain View from Ghorepani.
  • After reaching Ghorepani, rooms will be assigned.

Day 6

Hike Poonhill and Trek Tadapani.
Today, you will ascend up to Poonhill and then trek down to Tadapani. Our trek guide will lead the way up to the view point and also up to Tadapani. It will be a total of 5 hours trek.
Things to do:

  • Early morning hike to Poonhill for a mind blowing sunrise view.
  • Pass dense forest of rhododendron and pine.
  • Enjoy beautiful scene and scenery from Poonhill.
  • Witness world’s 7th highest peak, Mt. Dhaulagiri and 10th highest peak, Mt. Annapurna.
  • Admire beautiful mountain peaks like Mt. fishtail, Mt. Gangapurna, Mt. Annapurna South, Hiuchuli,
  • Tukuche peak, and many more.
  • Enjoy peaceful momentum and capture photos for memories.
  • Return back Ghorepani for breakfast and check out.
  • Trek down to Tadapani.
  • After reaching Tadapani, you will check in at the hotel and rooms will be assigned.

Day 7

Trek Ghandruk.
This day will be the last day of your trek. You will trek up to Ghandruk today which will take around 4 hours from Tadapani.
Things to do:

  • Head towards Ghandruk; beautiful settlements of the Himalayan tribe, the Gurung.
  • Pass various rhododendron trees and pine trees.
  • If you’re lucky you will also witness some wildlife.
  • Pass small streams and water sources.
  • Cross sparse settlements of human along the trails.
  • Admire beautiful sunset view in the Himalayas.
  • After reaching Ghandruk, you will check in and rooms will be assigned.
    (Dinner and overnight at the hotel).

Day 8

Drive Pokhara. Sightseeing.
Today, you will return back to Pokhara from Ghandruk. It will take around 3 hrs on wheels. A private vehicle will be sent for the drive.
At Pokhara, you will have a half day guided sightseeing tour.

  • Admire beautiful sunrise view from Ghandruk.
  • Beautiful Himalayas view including Mt. fishtail, Mt. Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Annapurna I and many more.
  • Return Pokhara.
  • Half-day sightseeing tour.
  • Explore bat cave and mountain museum.
  • Drive to Begnas Lake.
  • Enjoy nightlife of Pokhara Lakeside.

The vehicle will drop you to the hotel after your sightseeing around Pokhara.
(Dinner and overnight at the hotel).

Day 9

Fly Kathmandu. Pashupati, Patan tour, boudha.
Early morning, after having breakfast you will drive to Pokhara airport for Kathmandu flight.
You will have a guided half day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley.
You will head towards Patan durbar square, Pashupatinath and Boudhanath this day. A private vehicle will drive you to the heritage site for the sightseeing tour along with our city guide.
These 3 were also enlisted in the UNESCO world heritage site in 1979.

Things to do:

  • Observe the designs of wood carved in the temples.
  • Observe the arts and architecture of the temples which reflect the ancient culture and tradition.
  • Explore Golden Temple.
  • Observe Krishna Mandir with 21 golden pinnacles.
  • Explore Patan Museum to know more about art, architecture and culture of Patan.
  • Explore Kumari house in Patan.
  • Explore the complex of Pashupatinath Temple.
  • Explore Guheshwori temple.
  • Observe the cremation site of Hindus at the bank of Holy Bagmati River.
  • Observe the pagoda styled monuments of Pashupatinath.

Final departure.

HOW CAN I ENTER NEPAL ?

Nepal is a popular tourist destination in south Asia. Several airlines have direct and non-stop flights from Middle East and Asia to Kathmandu, Capital of Nepal. There are direct flights from London, Paris, Frankfurt, Doha, Osaka, Shanghi, Mascow, Bangkok, Singapore, Hongkong, Karachi, Bombay, Delhi, Culcutta, Paro, Dhaka, Lhasa & Varanasi.

All visitors can enter by Land through any of these entry points on the India-Nepal Boarder.

VISA INFORMATION: Entry Visa fees- at present US$ 30 for 15 days, US$ 50 for 30 days and US$ 125 for three month (90 days) visa on entry to Nepal. You can take visa after landing Nepal in Tribhuwan International Airport.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL IN NEPAL ?

Because of its elevation, Nepal can divided into three zones-the high mountains, the mid-hills and the flat plains called the Terai. The Everest, Langtang and Annapurna Trekking destinations in the mountains are cool throughout the year. The mid-hills, including Kathmandu & Pokhara, are cool except in the summer months from May to July. Temperatures in these cities during the summer remain much cooler that in many cities of the region. Lumbini, Chitwan and Janakpur in the Terai plains are hot in summer ( March-July) but cold in winter( December- February).

Any month of the year would be good to visit Nepal around the mid-hills & flat plains and September to May is good time for trekking and expedition.

IS SOMEONE GOING TO MEET ME AT THE AIRPORT ?

Our airport representative will come to the airport to pick up you. We will be displaying a play card Global Holidays Adventure with your name on it.

DO I HAVE PRE-DEPARTURE MEETING ?

Yes, at first, our staff will receive you at the airport and transfer to the Hotel and our tour leader will brief regarding about the trip. The briefing will cover the itinerary and introduced your trek leader.

While briefing, please bring passport, 3 copies of passport size photos, travel insurance, writing pen and notepad.

HOW DO I PAY TO GLOBAL HOLIDAYS ADVENTURE ?

After the trip confirmation you will send around 25% advance deposited by wire transfer to GHA Bank Account and remaining you can pay after your arrival by Cash or Credit Card but to pay by credit card there will be extra 4% bank service charge. Now Traveler Cheque is not acceptable as per the rule & regulation of Nepal Rastra Bank. We accept visa card, master card & National Card.

WHAT SORT OF ACCOMMODATION CAN EXPECT IN KATHMANDU AND DURING THE TOUR ?

There are all kind of Hotel simple to 5* hotel in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwon, Lumbini and others places. It’s depends on your demand but normally in our tour package we use standard rooms from 3* or 4* on BB Basis.

WHAT'S THE COMMON FROM OF GREETING IN NEPAL ?

It is called Namaste or Namaskar. You can say the greeting in words as well as do it using a gesture. Join your palms together and bring them close to your chest and about 5to 7 inches below your chin. The word Namaste has many meanings such as Hello, How are you?, I am glad to see you, nice to meet you, good morning, etc.

WHAT ARE THE BASIC NEPALI CUSTOMS THAT I NEED TO KNOW ?

  • When visiting a temple, always circumambulate it is a clockwise direction.
  • Take off your shoes before entering a temple or a Nepalese home.
  • Entrance to some temples is forbidden, so look out for such notices.
  • Seek permission to take photographs inside temples or of religious ceremonies.
  • You can accept a handshake offered by either a male or a female but never offer your hand first.
  • Show decency in dress and avoid any show of public affection.

WHAT IS THE CURRENCY OF NEPAL ?

Nepalese currency is spelled as Nepalese Rupees or Rupee ( Rs) or Nepali Rupee, and in short it is NRS or Rs. 100 Paisa equals 1 Rs. Currently Notes of the following denominations are used 1000, 500, 100, 50, 25, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 Rupees. Coin has not been popular in Nepal hence is almost always ignored in business.

It is illegal to exchange foreign currency with persons and organizations other than those authorized such as Travel Company, Banks, Hotels and Licensed money changers.

DO I NEED TO TIP MY GUIDE AND DRIVER ? HOW MUCH WOULD THAT BEST ?

This is difficult things to tell. It’s up to you from your heart by looking their work and support. Tipping is not required, but a small way to show your guides and drivers thanks for their help. The level of the tip should reflect the level of personal involvement with your guide.

WHAT ESSENTIAL DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME ON TOUR ?

  • Valid passport, must be valid up to 6 months after return from your tour, keep a separate photocopy.

  • WHAT ARE THE HEALTH REQUIREMRNTS TO VISIT NEPAL ?
  • Nepal does not require any specific immunization for visitors. It is however best to have vaccine before coming to Nepal. Your doctors can advice you on the type of vaccine to be taken to travel to third world countries like Nepal.
