Well the most exotic animal living on earth in the heart of jungle of Nepal which never sleeps, the Jungle. From the fluttering butterfly to the chirps of cricket, firefly to rapidly babbling rivers, the varied vegetation, chirping and hooting birds and the crunch of dried leaves the jungle is awake even if you are not.
Covering the land area of 986 sq.km, Bardiya National park is the one of the largest yet undisturbed conservation area in wilderness of Terai region which is located in mid-western part of Nepal. Conserving the ecosystem and natural habitat of Tigers and its prey along with many other spices of birds, animals as well as plants is the main aim of this national park and has been successful in many aspect of it.
Home to 125 numbers of tigers(not exact but as per data of September 2022), 53 spices of mammal, 25 species of reptile and 121 spices of fish and the river area of Karnali River and Ghaghara River area are true paradise for Birdwatchers as it attracts many migrating birds as well.
Going on open jeep safari our tiger guides will take you to major hot spot termed as tinkune (three corners) Kingfisher, Tented camp and the Balcony. There are also several places to see the encounter the tigers where our guide will led and take you to the places.
Apart from this Bardiya National Park receives some of the world renowned celebrities around the world. Celebrities like Leonardo Dicaprio, Selena Gomez, Prince Harry, and Duke of Sussex had visited earlier.
The best time of the year is October to beginning December and in March to May. Whereas during monsoon seasons due to heavy rainfall we cannot track the tiger properly due to unexpected roads conditions and the thick bushes where all the wildlife including tigers stash away. Coming to winter season from late November to February due to thick fog view aren’t clear and floras and faunas are not visible but there is a high chances to tack the tiger if we start out tracking the wild cats on the beginning of October the perfect timing is during march to May where we could see clearly all floras and faunas.

You will be welcomed by our staff holding PLA card with your name on it. You then will be taken to hotel by a private vehicle. There will be small meeting at evening about the trip.

Flight to Nepalgunj, Drive to Nepalgunj.
Today you will be flying to Nepalgunj which is about 1 hour flight and hop on a vehicle that’s waiting for you in airport which is going to take you on a ride for 3-4 hours taking you to Bardiya National park.
After refreshment and lunch you will be visiting Tharu village where you will be learning and enjoying culture and lifestyle of Tharu people.

Full day Jeep safari focused on territory of Tiger.
Today after breakfast we will hop on open jeep and start our activity regarding tracking the wild cats. We will move around following the evidence of Tigers. During the day we visit plenty locations while Tiger are often spotted. From a tower view you are able to see the grassland and possible spot at a distance where herd of elephant and Tiger come to river to drink water.

Full day Tiger Tracking.
After an early breakfast we will drive to National park and dedicate to spot the Tiger. We drive on an open-top private safari Jeep to another famous tiger spot inside the park. During the time we will mostly follow our local guide and wait several times to the spot the tigers.

Tiger tracking and Boating, sightseeing.
The first priority is to encounter Tiger, and conclude the day with sightseeing and boating. If we could not track the Tigers in previous days we continue to go to core area of National park in order to encounter the Tigers.

Drive to Nepalgunj airport and fly back to Kathmandu.
After this amazing Tiger safari in Bardia National park, today you will drive to Nepalgunj and fly back to Kathmandu. You will pick up from airport and drive to hotel by private van and enjoy your day with shopping and drinking few beers on nice bars in the street of Thamel.

According to the census of 2022 Nepal has 355 wild tigers, which is almost three times more than the 121 tigers it had in 2010. This is great news for Nepal because there were 12 countries who was promised to double the number of tigers by 2022 and they are still in track. Nepal received the TX2 Award 2022.
There are 125 adult tigers as per the latest Tiger census of 2022.
